EUAEL INTERNATIONAL EQUINE LAW CONGRESS
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Definitions
These Terms and Conditions apply to every participant registered for the first EUAEL International Equine Law Congress to be held in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, on 15 March 2019 (hereinafter referred to as “the Congress”), organized by Schelstraete Advocaten B.V. and Schelstraete Holding B.V. (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizers”).
All references to a date or deadline mentioned in these Terms and Conditions and on other Congress documents refer to the Central European Time.
Registration and conditions
The registration deadline is until 14 March 2019 24:00 CET. Only fully completed registration forms will be accepted.
The receipt of your full registration form will be confirmed to you by e-mail within five (5) working days. Definite participation will be confirmed to you by e-mail at the receipt of payment in full.
The registration fee includes entry to the congress and coffee breaks. Lunch is optional. The Congress fee does not include insurance. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance.
The Organizers reserve the right to change the prices at any time and to offer special rates, but changes will not affect registrations which have already been confirmed by the Organizers.
If the maximum participant capacity is reached, the Organizers reserve the right to refuse additional registrations.
Methods of payment
Payment is required within seven (7) days after receiving the confirmation of receipt of your registration form. Payment should be made in EURO only, using one of the following methods:

Please note that all the transfer costs shall be prepaid by the sender.
An e-mail with confirmation of definite participation will be send by the Organizers within five (5) working days once payment has received in full.
Registration name change
A handling fee of € 15,00 will be charged for every name change to an existing congress registration. A new registration form for the participant should not be submitted. Names changes will be accepted by e-mail indicating the old and new names including the required contact details.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations shall be made in writing and send to the Organizers. No refunds will be made for cancellations.
Modification of the Congress Program
The Organizers reserve the right to modify the program. No refunds will be made in case of cancellation of speakers or any other incidents during the Congress which are beyond the control of the Congress Organizers.
Cancellation of the Congress
In the event that the Congress cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the Congress Organizers (Force Majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence on the part of the Congress Organizers, the Congress Organizers shall not be held liable by participants for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, etc. Under these circumstances, the Congress Organizers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future congress, or to reimburse the attendee after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the Congress and which should not be recovered from third parties.
Name badge
The Congress name badge must be worn at all times during the Congress. Access to the Congress venue will not be granted without the name badge.
Film, photo and video recording
The Organizers of the Congress work together to create a comprehensive overview of the Congress that maybe of promotional interest to the Congress Organizers. Please be advised that you may be filmed or photographed at any time and any presentations you deliver may be recorded.
Data protection, Processing of Credit Card details and Sharing of Contact details
The acquisition, handling, and utilization of all personal registration data is executed pursuant to the prevailing data protection regulations. The Organizers of the Congress will collect and store all data.
When you register you will be asked to complete the registration form providing for: your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. Should you choose to make the payment for your participation with credit card, your credit card details will also be collected. Your credit card details will be kept by the Organizers of the Congress until 2 months after the end of the Congress.
Liability
The Congress Organizers shall be held liable in the framework of a duty of care as a respectable businessman according to statutory provisions. The liability of the Congress Organizers – for whatever legal reason – shall be limited to intent and gross negligence. The liability of commissioned service providers shall remain unaffected by same. The participants shall take part in the conference at their own risk. Oral agreements shall not be binding if same have not been confirmed in writing by the Congress Organizers.
Fulfillment and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are subject to Dutch Law. The Terms and Conditions shall be fulfilled in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands in the event of any legal claims arising from either party shall be exclusively resolved by the Districht Court of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.
